Let Them Eat Dates!

Whether we've heard it on TV, in movies, read it in articles or books, we have come across the famous quote "Let Them Eat Cake" by Marie Antoinette. The origins of this phrase are unknown, however it was widely attributed to the Princess consort of Louis XVI (1755-93) when she supposedly said it to the French populace when she was alerted that the people were suffering to widespread bread shortages. The traditional translation of the French phrase "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche" refers to the princess's obliviousness to the nature of famine when mentioning brioche, a luxury bread enriched with eggs, butter, flour and sugar. Unlike the little princess, when Bahrain saw massive demonstrations and a sea of protestors in front of his palace, his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, bestowed them with dates and water. This act of generosity on his behalf was to lighten up on the protestors and serve them with one of the Prophets' peace be upon him favorite food.
Now that a month has passed on these perfidious events, it's rather crucial that the King no longer serves them dates, these protestors have betrayed their oath, their King and their country. The time for the National Dialogue is now over. When it was possible, they thought they had the upper hand but due to greed and a slight thought of milking more of the cow, they rejected it wholeheartedly, leaving the country in angst and uncertainty. Nonetheless, the time has come for Bahrain to take a stronger position to these traitors and as part of the people, I modestly demand harsher punishments and no more dates.

A Joker's Mentality

There is a wide understanding and a mutual international consensus on the political front and that is the only and best way in organizing modern politics is through democracy as it one of the legitimate methods. However, the problem and menace of terrorism stands against the democratic way of the political system. Terrorism has transcended international boundaries, and thus, has acquired a global form. This mishap, has been affecting almost all countries in all regions. Hence, the threat of terrorism is no longer limited to a particular country or region. Even comic books touch on this and one of the world's favorite villains, The Joker when running loose in Gotham City uses very similar techniques in prompting global terrorism.
Bahrain has long seen some signs of unrest and terrorism since the 70's, however what has happened recently, is a terrorist conspiracy against compassionate Bahrain. How did it happen? When was this all planned? How can someone terrorize their own people and country? These might all be questions that you're thinking of, however determining what drives people to terrorism is no easy task. For one thing, terrorists aren't likely to volunteer as experimental subjects, and examining their activities from afar can lead to erroneous conclusions. What's more is, one group's terrorist is another group's freedom fighter, similarly to many Batman has been a protagonist, however the Joker is the hero, his followers will attest. "I don’t want to kill you! What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, NO! No. You… you… complete me" (Joker) .This is why is it important to understand media & terrorism as separate entities but they complement each other like Batman & the Joker, they're both strong by themselves but when united, they're undefeatable because of their different fighting methods.
Defining Terrorism
What doesn't kill you only makes you..stranger (Joker). Defining terrorism has always been an uphill task for decision-makers, academics, defense personnel and even journalists. One definition that was interesting defines it as "the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear". What all definitions have in common are:
- Terrorism is generally understood to be the politically motivated violence
- Terrorism has been viewed to be generally directed towards soft targets
- Terrorism is essentially group phenomenon
- Terrorism must be seen as criminal, unfair and illegitimate use of abnormal force
- Terrorism has one of its main goals as a deliberate attempt to create fear
- Terrorism often gets involved in intimidating governments and societies
- Terrorism gets itself manifested as opposition of established authority
With the outmost confidence, it is only necessary to call the group that has disrupted Bahrain's peace as terrorists because they check off every possible understanding of what terrorism is.
Why Terrorism?
Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I’m an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It’s fair! (Joker) Terrorism essentially tries to negate the existence of political power, this was the baseline for why these terrorists took part in a backlash against the government. It challenges the legitimacy of the political authority and uses fear, surprise, violence or threat of violence to achieve the goals through coercion, illegal and immoral use of force, transnational violence and internationalization of a conflict or demand with the latent involvement of communication media. Terrorism poses significant challenge to the political system and authority. Correct so far?

Some factors causing the phenomenon of terrorism around the around are enumerated as humiliation of the masses, increase in population, illiteracy, political frustration, regional disparities, widening of inequalities, intervention into religious, social and personal liberties, abject poverty, foreign support, lure for publicity and protest against the policies of the government. Terrorism is not just brutal and unthinking violence, I tell you.
"Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it. You know, I just… do things. The mob has plans, the cops have plans, Gordon’s got plans. You know, they’re schemers. Schemers trying to control their little worlds. I’m not a schemer" (Joker). There is an agreement amongst the experts that there has always been a strategy behind terrorist actions. Taking any form of bombings, shootings, hijackings, or assassinations, terrorism has neither been random or spontaneous rather a deliberate and premeditated use of spectacular violence to make beneficial use of the psychological impact of violence or of the threat of violence to create political change. Since his appearance, the Joker has been planning, scheming and finding ways to take over Gotham City, but the one method that makes people listen to him is terrorism through media.
Media: Terrorist's Glorification Drive
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, we are tonight's entertainment! Political terrorism is often intended to influence a larger audience and to disseminate specific messages besides publicizing some political or religious cause; demonstrating the weakness of a government; and ensure public overreactions purposefully. In many of my recent research and not long ago studies, academics describe political terrorism as 'theater'. "It is profound and often tragic drama for which the world is a stage. Violence, death, intimidation and fear are the theatrical ingredients. The plot often involves hostages, deadlines and high level bargaining. Tension and anxiety levels are immediately raised".
The relationship between media and terrorism is quite precarious. The interplay between media reporting and the use of violence by extremist movements has always been an interesting field of study. It has been observed that violent extremists understand the capacity of the present day media network to disseminate information through satellite and digital technology and to present the events 'live' and or graphically and to cater to the global audience. This instantaneous media exposure brings forward the grievances and facilitates them in garnering a larger audience. Keeping in view the media point, they have their "own incentives to report-major terrorist incidents". Today's terrorists have been able to exploit the advances in communication, transportation and weaponry. Terrorists are said to usually tailor their activities in a manner, which would help them in getting maximum of publicity, and dissipate their message through all communication channels.
Engaging Gotham
A large number of suggestions have been forwarded for combating terrorism which include strong administration, optimum efficiency, accountability of the state, neutrality in public affairs, normalcy in civil-police relationship, quick redressal of grievances, psychological and sociological inputs, eradication of corruption, coordination in intelligence units, integration of strategies of counter terrorism, increased role of opinion makers, commando raids on terrorist camps, restoration of democratic institutions, comprehensive assessment of the problems, social employment drive, boost to development efforts, revival of cultural and literary fora, revival of party organizations, agreement on extradition treaties and revitalizing International law.
It is the responsibility of the media to find differentiating lines between disseminating the news and spreading the message of the terrorists. Enjoying the liberty of expression, media must restrain from taking sides and using provocative language and photographs to attract larger audience. Media must contribute to the maintenance of democracy which is under threat. However, the potential culpability of the media in spreading propaganda and fostering fear while invoking its freedom with blind eye requires serious attention. The media must be responsible enough towards the democratic norms besides inculcation of these norms in the citizenship. Media must understand that only democracy has provided them freedom of expression and this freedom has to be handled with care.
With this I leave you with a famous quote from the infamous Joker, Why so serious? Let me put a smile on that face.

Note: Some of the confiscated weapons of the Joker's Gang. (Quite similar I would say).

Keep Calm & Rebuild Bahrain

A lot of us have seen the 'Keep Calm And Carry On' posters, whether they're the replica or have different messages on them. This poster has always fascinated me however, it was when I got older, I realized that there has to be a story behind it, which led me to the origings behind the Poster.
The Keep Calm & Carry on posters were formed by the British Government (Ministry of Information) as the department was responsible for publicity and propaganda during the Second World War. In late 1959 after the outbreak of War, the MOI was appointed by the British Government to design a number of morale boosting posters that would be displayed across the British Isles during the testing times that lay ahead.
With a bold colored background, the posters were required to be similar in style and feature the symbolic crown of King George VI along with a simple yet effective font. The first two posters, 'You Courage, Your Cheerfulness, Your Revolution will Bring Us Victory' and 'Freedom is in Peril' were produced by His Majesty's Stationary's Office.
These two were posted on public transport in shop windows, upon notice boards and hoardings across Britain. The third and final poster of the set was again very straight forward and to the point, it simply read 'Keep Calm and Carry On'. The plan in place for this poster was to issue it only upon the invasion of Britain by Germany. As this never happened, the poster was only displayed on a very few office walls and was never officially seen by the public.
It is believed that most of the Keep Calm and Carry On posters were destroyed and reduced to a pulp at the end of the war in 1945. However nearly 60 years later, a bookseller from Barter Books stumbled across a copy hidden amongst a pile of dusty old books bought from an auction. A small number also remain in the National Archives and the Imperial War Museum in London.
No record remains of the unknown Civil Servant who originally came up with the simple and quintessential Britishness of the Keep Calm and Carry On message. However it is wonderful to think that all these years later, people still find it so appealing and reassuring in modern times. The message clearly resonates with everyone around us and blatantly states :when $#it hits the fan, we have to take it on (if it ever happens in the literal sense, keep your mouths closed).
This iconic symbol filled with imagery applies to the current situation in Bahrain, regardless of what has happened in the country or is happening, we have to all stick together in the good days and mostly in hard times to try and bring back Bahrain not only to where it was but better. We all have our different messages, but to the Loyalists of Bahrain, here's my message to you: Keep Calm & Love Bu Salman. (in case of Emergency, please refer to the Black Poster- I will!).

Two of Bahrain's MVP's

In every good team there are players that make or break the games, but the ones that are forever remembered are those who make a difference in the game whether it is the number of goals they score, the way they tackle and defend or even being the coach who looks over the entire team by finding key players and making them stand out in their right positions. The same thing goes to every country, with each cabinet or government looking out for the best in the field to fill the position and be able to score as many goals to turn the game around or even just make it to the finals. For years Bahrain have witnessed a lot of key and important players in the country that we cannot forget, however with the current events there were two Most Value Players in the nation's field watching and guarding any attacks within or abroad. These two legendary players have been selected by the King himself before the crisis yet they proved to be even more outstanding when they were under pressure. These two men who deserve not only MVP medals but medals of Honor for serving the country in times of adversity and prosperity. Without further adieu, the Most Valuable Players of Bahrain are:
Sh. Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa (Minister of Interior)
Sh. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa (Minister of Foreign Affairs)
While most of us were under severe unrest and taken aback by the local situation, these two renowned gentlemen of Bahrain have not only spent their days defending their country, but bringing it back to where it was, if not better. While one was guarding the streets and keeping the locals safe and secure, the other was guarding our borders from international invasions and claims. They both have fought a silent war, without outing themselves. They have taken on the burden and truly fought clean with outmost honor and gallantry.
On one side, we saw Sh. Rashid bin Abdulla, a man of little words and a lot of courage speak in the honor of the fallen soldiers. His sincere voice, evident, of how much pain he was in for his lost men, while scattering sand on their graves. Yet still whenever is under extreme stress, he takes it manly and acts on it with the most bravery. I have always had much respect for him.
On the other side of the news, was Sh. Khalid bin Ahmed who has long been known as a smart individual with the right skills for the job. Recently, he was very precise and clear at the conferences, even when attacked by foreign governments, he was assured that he was right and though at times we saw him frustrated by the questions asked by the journalists, he stood tall and answered with full confidence. I never doubted him once.
These two men deserve a Medal of Honor for their conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their lives above and beyond the call of duty while serving Bahrain in action and words against enemy aggressor forces. Participating in the defense of an outpost forward of the main line of resistance, Sh. Rashid and Sh. Khalid maneuvered their very different men over unfamiliar terrains in the face of hostile enemy attacks and placed them in the right fighting positions. Both succumbing to their national wounds, they with outstanding courage and indomitable fighting spirit, were directly responsible for the success of Bahrain's safety and security both locally and abroad in repelling a numerically superior enemy force. Their personal valor reflect the highest credit upon themselves and enhances the finest traditions of Bahrain's Service.
These men have not only served the nation, in fact, they served us; Bahraini's. Like everyone else, they too were shocked at the misdemeanor of the Hezbollah-ites, still like any superstar under pressure, they play for the love of the game and just go for it with their undeniable talent. I am a proud Bahraini because of men like them in my country, who not only serve, but devout themselves to Allah, Bahrain and the King. Today and forevermore these men will be remembered like Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, and Lance Armstrong in Bahrain and for Bahrain. They will always be remembered as heroes who deserve to be put in Bahrain's Hall of Fame.
A heartfelt thanks to them for their constant support to bringing back Bahrain. May Allah bless them, their families and their men & women of duty.
Brave Bahrain

Whose Party?

You're late, you're late to a very important date!
It all started with an initial invitation from a bunch of Iranian radicals to a group of Israeli occupied Lebanese in the early 1980s to join the party. The invitation had a cash load attached to it to turn a herd of extreme Shia Muslims to a powerful political and military organization in Lebanon. This group called itself "Party of God". Before we can go deeper into understanding the mentality of this terrorist group, we ask ourselves, Does God need an army of militants with makeshift bombs to defend him? Then why at all call themselves, P.O.G.
The group was conceived in 1982 by a group of Muslim clerics after the invasion of Lebanon. There were over 2000 contingent Iranian Revolutionary Guards based in Bekaa Valley, which had been sent to the country to aid the resistance against Israel. It always dreamed of transforming Lebanon's multi-confessional state into an Iranian-style Islamic State, although this idea was later abandoned in favor of a more inclusive approach that has survived to this day. The party was long supported by Iran, which provided it with arms and money.
The party's defining platform since mid 2000 has been hostility to Israel and when the last Israeli troops left Lebanon due largely to the success of Hezbollah's military arm, the Islamic Resistance, its popularity peaked. Many rooted for them even the pro-Western Lebanese, however after a destructive year with Israel and the capturing of 2 Israeli soldiers in 2006, their uphill reputation took a massive dent.
This terrorist party is the strongest member of Lebanon's pro-Syrian opposition bloc which has been pitted against the pro-Western government led by Sa'ad Alhariri. They are mainly located in Southern Lebanon and have several seats in the parliament as well as ministers in a national unity government which was formed late 2009.
Washington has long branded Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and has accused it of destabilizing Lebanon in the wake of Syria's withdrawal of its troops from the country following the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Alhariri.
I was in Lebanon the morning Mr.Rafik Alhariri died and visited the spot and burial of the legendary pro-Western Lebanese pacifist. It was clear that he was bombed and when an investigation was to take place in the hospital and morgue, many of the Doctors stole the files and took over the hospital solely to bury all possible evidence which points at Hezbollah's hand in his assassination. The ground had been damaged as if a bomb was planted under his car which was able to shake the entire Phoenician Hotel in central Beirut.
This terrorist movement long operated with neighboring Syria's blessing, as Bashar Alasad himself is a member of this terrorist cell, protecting its interests in Lebanon and serving as a card for Damascus to play in its own confrontation with Israel.
The leaders of Hezbollah mainly, Hassan Nasrallah, continued to profess his support for Syria, while stressing Lebanese unity by arguing against "Western Interference" in the country. Funny, how this "Interference" is the same card he used when addressing current issues in Bahrain.
Hezbollah offers not only a political clout, but has a wide popular appeal by providing social services and healthcare. It has an influential TV Station, Al Manar that is financed by non-other, Iran.
Nasrallah who claims to be some sort of Messiah has recently gone on TV, addressing a specific message to the Shia's of Bahrain. It  was rather insulting for an Iranian puppet to be accusing our country and government, but the cards are out chub-chub and it is obvious that their plan is to make their life-long dream of creating an Iran style Islamic Republic of Bahrain while slowly infiltrating nearby countries in the Middle East till finally it becomes a super Shia power that can dominate the world. Snap, Crackle and Pop! This is but a dream for all you Nasallah-ites who think it's possible. The King of Bahrain finally and for the very first time ousted the Iranian scheme to the world and soon the media that they're trying to buy will turn against them. I guess, if we were in Wonderland, the Queen of Hearts would do the honors and condemn them with a loud: "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS".
Brave Bahrain

Order of Appearance from left:
Queen of Hearts as herself, Hare as Khameni, Madhatter as Nasrallah, Alice as Madrasi, Rabbit as Khomeyni, Cheshire as himself and White Queen as Sestaani.

Burning Gandhi's Wheel

Recent political events in Bahrain have been heavily influenced by historical advancements and solid success stories. One great character that the Bahraini "peaceful" protestors have used is Mohandas Gandhi, an individual widely regarded as a champion of the nonviolent resolution of conflict. His views of nonviolence and violence have been explored in history by analyzing his concepts of truth and sovereignty. For Gandhi, nonviolence respects the integrity and autonomy of each of the parties in a conflict and lays the basis for future settlements which enable the parties to live together peacefully and in mutual respect. The Gandhi revolution has been used as a basis, a study guide or walk through for the rebellious protestors in Bahrain. They have used and abused the teachings of Gandhi, his ways, habits and his accomplishments to stir up a "revolution" that is based on a very easy method that could be called the "cut and paste technique". Gandhi's revolution has been taken out of context and put into one that is completely different, but before more details on that is illustrated, it is rather crucial to go back in time and review Gandhi's methods.

Gandhi's Civil Disobedience
Civil disobedience is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands and commands of a government or of an occupying international power. Civil disobedience is commonly, though not always, defined as being nonviolent resistance. It is one form of civil resistance. In one view it could be said that it is compassion in the form of respectful disagreement. Gandhi first employed civil disobedience while expatriate lawyer in South Africa against the British, during the resident Indian community's struggle for civil rights. He pioneered satyagraha which is defined as a resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience, a philosophy firmly founded upon total nonviolence. This concept helped India gain independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.
Bahraini's Uncivil Obedience
As for the Bahraini version, the protestors have utilized Gandhi's Method of satyagraha or nonviolence since the very beginning of the "revolution" while labeling themselves "peaceful" protestors, and used a phrase of "they meet us with bullets while we meet them with flowers". Even after some casualties caused by their uncivil obedience, they still refer to their movement as a peaceful one. The protestors were uncivil at all while obedient to their cult leaders. In reality, they had weapons, some held in their hands, others hid in their socks to stab the policemen, Molotov cocktail bombs, swords, and many more. This was one of the first ways the protestors abused Gandhi's method and principles.
Gandhinian Fight
The main goal Gandhi looks for is satisfying both parties to a conflict while honoring both positions. He would look at the principles of both sides, and agree which are valid and important to solve any problem. Gandhi believed that backing away from a fight was cowardly and sought to find the truth and deception of both sides and cautioned about a sense of certainty of one's position. He had the skills and effort to fight a clean fight yet being faithful to his principles. (ex. Gandhi had a famous protest called the Salt March where he encouraged people to go to the beach and collect salt crystals so they don't have to pay them with high taxes from the British).
Hezbollah Fight
The protest in Bahrain did not look at any kind of peaceful method to overcome the scare they have caused in the country. Instead they have moved from a "peaceful" protest to acts of terrorism and vandalism in the which is not at all what Gandhi has taught. In addition to that, when the Crown Prince of Bahrain has given them a chance for a National Dialogue to choose peaceful dispute over violent conflict, they chose the latter. Many of the forms used by the protestors were more like militant Hezbollah than peaceful Gandhi. (ex. The protestors barricaded roads, ministries and used violent guerrilla warfare tactics to be heard).
Gandhism: Principles, Practices and Beliefs
Truth
"God is truth. The way to truth lies through ahimsa (non-violence). Gandhi dedicated his life to the wider purposes of discovering truth, or Satya. He tried to achieve this by learning from his own mistakes and conducting experiments on himself. On the contrary, the protestors have used fallacy in reporting accurate news, spread sedition between the people and on the internet to add more fuel to the fire, and of course had no truth to begin with. The protests had 2 or 3 requirements that were met since Day One, and then proved that the whole "protest" was based on getting more and more from the government until they just called for its downfall.

Vegetarianism

Before Gandhi left for his studies, he made a promise to his mother that he would abstain from eating meat, taking alcohol and engaging in promiscuity. He held fast to his promise and gained more than a diet: he gained his basis for his life-long philosophies. As he grew into adulthood, he became a strict vegetarian. To Gandhi, a vegetarian diet would not only satisfy the requirements of the body, it would also serve an economic purpose as meat was, and still is generally more expensive than grains, vegetables and fruits. He abstained from eating for long period, using fasting as a form of political protest. He refused to eat until his death or his demands were met.

As for the carnivorism that is taking place in Bahrain, it's evident that many of the protestors made their way to the Pearl Roundabout to munch on shawarma's, burgers, and of course the mother all taboos, Mita'a which is indeed promiscuity. There were lists with women's name on them, their mobile numbers, their city/village, profession and EVEN their characteristics! Also, many of the Molotov cocktail bombs were made from old soft drink bottles and of course beer bottles, which a lot of them make at home and sell under the table.
Basic Education
Gandhi had a spiritual principal that he lived by which is that knowledge and work are not separate. He promoted an educational curriculum with the same name based on this pedagogical principle.
The three pillars of Gandhi's pedagogy were its focus on the life-long character of education, its social character and its form as a holistic process. For Gandhi, education is 'the moral development of the person' a process that is by definition 'life-long'. Again even the simplest form of action was misunderstood and altered by the protestors in Bahrain.
Bahrain witnessed the closing down of schools for almost a week, the rioting of teachers and students alike, in addition to students leaving in their school hours to protest; a scene where a child should not be close to especially when its violent and filled with hatred.
Ultimately, the so-called protestors have not only violated every principle that the legendary Mohandas Gandhi was known for but raped it. Despite them looking up to Gandhi and trying excessively to copy, which is seen in their protests, only they had discovered that the little man of India had big shoes to fill and it was hard for them to follow in it so they changed and altered it to fit their needs. Had Gandhi been alive today, he would be offended by the likes of the Bahraini protestors that have clearly disgraced his image and teachings with their pathetic misinterpretation.
Note: This article is not intended to downgrade any of Gandhi's teachings, but instead shed some led on how massively his teachings have been misinterpreted.

Nonviolence

Although Mohandas Gandhi was not the originator of the principle of non-violence, he was the first to apply it in the political field on a large scale. The concept of nonviolence and nonresistance has a long history in Indian religious thought and has many revivals in Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian and Muslim contexts. He was quoted saying:

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind".

"There are many caused that I am prepared to die for but no causes that I am prepared to kill for".

It is obvious that the protestors/traitors had used the same technique, they even had printed "Ready to Die for Bahrain" merchandise at their disposal. However, there was definitely a reason they wanted to die for Bahrain and have an explosive rising number of casualties and that is mainly so the international media would report it, the United Nations would interfere on the basis of Human Rights and Violence violations, and to cause further more instability in the country so an international occupation of a Shia Islamic State (i.e. Iran and its follower Hezbollah) invade Bahrain- which has been its long lived dream (even before saying that Bahrain is one of their States).

Trick or Treason

Halloween came early this year for people in Bahrain. The people could not wait till October 31st to celebrate it with the world as they've recently been dropping off their masks revealing their real faces. It was with amusement that Halloween here has been orchestrated by a group of adults instead of children who decided to was fun to wear masks all year long and feel it was the time to "pull one" on Bahrain. Once these masks fell off their conniving faces, Bahrain got to see the not so pleasant portraits of its traitors.
Lately a large number of these traitors have made their voices heard to international media, seeking help and asylum, not to mention tarnish the image of Bahrain's government and its people. Loyal Bahrainis cannot comprehend just how their fellow countrymen could not love their country and government despite its continuous generosity. The left of these anti-government movement is intrinsic to their entire worldview. They would promote the right of Islamic fanatics for the same reason they promote the rights of criminals, extremists, adulterers (in the name of religion) and violent protests. They instinctively root for anarchy against civilization. The inevitable logic of their position is to be for...wait for it...T-R-E-A-S-O-N!
In law, treason is the crime that covers some of the more serious acts of betrayal of one's sovereign (government) or nation. In the UK, treason against the king was known as high treason and treason against a lesser superior was petit treason. Now that we know what it is in law, let's define what it really is. Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as "a citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the parent nation". In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt to conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavor. A person would be guilty of treason under the U.K. Act if they:
·      Compassed or Imagined (i.e. planned) the death of the King, his wife or his elder son and heir;
·      Violated the King's companion
·      Levied war against the King in his Realm or adhered to the King's enemies in his Realm, giving them aid and comfort in his Realm or elsewhere.
In English law, high treason was punishable by being hanged, drawn or quartered (men) or burnt at the stake (women) or beheading. Treason was the only crime which attracted those penalties.
What does this have to do anything? Why are we speaking of treason? Easy, because these trick-or-treason acts have actually been well played by Bahraini individuals who would have broken the law in Britain and knowing that most of Bahrain's law is based on the British Law, many of the citizens anticipate that these traitors will be punished by law.
Lately, many of these traitors have been caught red-handed, one of which is the newly resigned Health Minister Nizar Baharna who had fabricated the subject of his father's treatment abroad, where today's Alayam Newspaper uncovered the real reason for his traveling was to lodge complaints against Bahraini government-related events in the Kingdom, and was quick to resign after one day of his return of travel after the revelations of the subject matter. What would Nazar Bahrana's jurisdiction be: Death (preferably by hanging). The traitor needs to contemplate on the severity of his actions while he walks in shame to his closure.
Another traitor that has been tricking for years is Ebrahim Sharif Alsayed who has been arrested early Thursday morning. Sharif has been a political traitor activist that joined forces with the Clue Gang (see previous articles). He betrayed his own people when the Police called him personally to inform his friends at Pearl Roundabout to evacuate before the Police came down on them. He made a run for it, left his people and went home. What is funny about this is that the Police, actually traced and recorded the call for evidence purposes with the exact date and time. Sharif has been working with groups locally and abroad to overthrow the King and government. Jurisdiction? Death (preferably by shooting). The traitor just needs someone to end him and fast.
Others that should be on Bahrain's Traitor Lists also are: Rabab Al Sammak (Yathreb Middle School Principal) for instigating the war. Mahdi Abu Deeb (President of Teacher's Association) for levying war against King. Ala'a Al Saffar (Doctor at Salmaniya Medical Centre) for lying and betraying occupation. Doctors and Nurses of SMC (for smuggling an Iranian Information machine) and supporting Iran and teachers of schools throughout Bahrain for their civil disobedience and treachory.
Now that Halloween is officially over in the Kingdom of Bahrain, we're waiting patiently for the jury to see what the scores of their costumes are. Let's hope justice is called for their poor costume execution.
Brave Bahrain

Gone But Never Forgotten

In Manama today, there's very little left of Pearl Roundabout. Years from now, people will live their lives and have difficulty remembering exactly where it used to be, but not for us who lived through the protests. Never. The symbolic end to the monument is one that reflects how the Bahraini people victoriously put an end to terrorism in the nation and faced it with bravery. It was a wonderful act by the people in charge to demolish it once and for all to make sure that it is not turned into a shrine for mourning that would resurrect memories of hatred, pain and difficulty for almost everyone in Bahrain, regardless. It's not exactly a glowing testimony for the end of violence in Bahrain, but hopefully a reoccurring trigger in the face of all the traitors to signify their "put down".
For all you readers who don't know much about Pearl Roundabout or GCC Roundabout, it's one of the main roundabouts in the capital city of Bahrain, and one of the most important monuments in Bahrain.  The monument was established three decades ago along the time of the 3rd Gulf Summit in November 1982, which was held for the very first time in Bahrain. Going closer to the monument itself, it has six sides representing the nations of the six countries of the GCC. As for the centralized pearl, it refers to the profession of pearl diving, which used to represent the backbone of economic life in the Gulf before the discovery of oil, hence why the protestors decided to use this roundabout as a hub for their demonstrations. As I watched the news, images of the Pearl Roundabout, stab at my senses like needles, and they are always there although I was not physically present. The people and events from Day One of February the 14th till today, whether their memories of that day are first or second hand. Now that the roundabout is history, it is not dead past, it lives and breathes and walks alongside us every day, just as the images and people that found themselves in the middle of the horrendous pandemonium, resonate in my historic and will continue in my personal memory every day. I can never forget how my country has been stabbed, betrayed in the front, where she can see her own children shoving swords through her heart.
Today, I feel deep sadness because the controversies springing from the aftermath of February 14, so often drown out the voices of the people who lived and died through the events mostly importantly the 2 policemen (may they rest in peace). I believe the real message we take out of this, for us all is that in times of disaster, people can and must trust each other and their government and country for comfort, help and hope. I have mixed feelings about today, but mostly I feel a deep sadness and a sustainable hope. A deep sadness for the loss of a nation's monument that withstood the test of time and a sustainable hope that Bahrain will become stronger, better and impenetrable. Long Live Bahrain. Long Live the King.

Flickering Through Bahrain

Bahrain- As midnight passes in the ghost town cities of Bahrain, after the Military issued its fourth announcement late in the afternoon yesterday of a curfew starting from 4pm - 4am in certain areas in the country, the roads seem haunted and mostly everyone was at home. A lot of people in the country have been subject to house arrest, not being able to enjoy the public spaces, go to work or any of the things that the citizens had the right to do because a group of terrorists caused turbulence in the peaceful Kingdom of Bahrain.
While many of us were all in at home, flickering through channels wanting to watch things about current events and occasionally flash through TV shows to try and ease the rising tension and claustrophobic feelings of space containment. As some of the shows were on, it was easier relating the events that took place in Bahrain from February 14th till today to some of the popular TV Shows that we see or have seen. To clarify, why not start with the very beginning.
Agrah (Gossip) Girl here. Your one and only source into the traitors lives of Bahraini's filth. Prior to February 14th, there were growing numbers of a Facebook page called "Day of Wrath-Bahrain", a group that called for a revolution, a conspiracy against the government and the loyal people of Bahrain. Many thought that this group was riding the wave after the downfall of two strong Arabian governments, Tunisia and Egypt except for the "youth" of the Bahrain, who actually that they would takeover. On the 14th, the protestors marched and settled in Pearl Roundabout with many people waiting for the arrival of Hasan Mushama, a snakehead of a conspirator who has been plotting against the government for years. During that time, more and more blackberry message, tweets and emails have been circulating about the recent events, much like Gossip Girl. Everyone had their phones in their hands, computers on refresh mode and TV's on, waiting impatiently for the next message that would either bring them to calm or raise their panic mode. Did you think protestors and the Police would go down without a fight? There's nothing Gossip Girl likes more than a good cat fight. Read more to find out.
Soon after the protestors set up their tents at Pearl Roundabout, they formed tribes some of them brought the food, others were responsible for the false media release, others conducted general talks as part of the tribal council. But unlike Survivor, the protestors were not stranded on an island, they had many tools with which to survive. Some of these tools included computers, Dairy Queen, water, Swords, Molotov bombs and of course their cars that can transport them to their homes for showers, meals and to ammo up incase all weapons are confiscated somehow or stolen. After several challenges which consisted of endurance, strength, agility, problem solving, teamwork and willpower games, the Crown Prince called for a nationwide "calm".
During this time, the protestors continued to terrorize the country and its citizens, they would hold demonstrations on a daily basis where they would frustrate the police, attack them and expect that it was ok. While this was happening, the Police gave enough time for the protestors to evacuate the premises, and when they were asked to evacuate, there were exerted forces on both ends leaving the parties wounded with some casualties. Right after the evacuation, BCSI or Bahrain Crime Scene Investigation was taking control of the pearl roundabout where they found evidence of a non-peaceful protest with proof of weaponry, armory, and  arson.
Many of the protestors were taken into hospitals and the ER to heal them and operate on them as soon as they arrived. Salmaniya Hospital, one of the largest medical facilities has been turned into a terrorist hub, where many camped there to reload on weaponry, the nurses and doctors conducted false operations just like the fake ones we watch on Grey's Anatomy except it's more believable on the show than in Salmaniya. The hilarious thing about the hospital was the fact that many of the bored wives of these terrorists and relatives were there prior to them being wounded or anything just to make the scene believable. These Desperate Housewives, are far from the educated, pretty mama's of Wiseria Lane. They tribal and fake but know how to act.
With international alerts and focus on Bahrain, America wanting to fix the problem, Iran butting in and making accusations, international media journalists flew to Bahrain to cover the "fake" scene. Many of the protestors were waiting at Bahrain's International Airport to find a glimpse of people that looked like reporters and if they hit the jackpot and it was one, the protestors would pay to accommodate them, feed them and even bribe them to insult Bahrain's image and portray false news. The International news about Bahrain were very much like X-Files, because most of the reporting's were of extraterrestrial events all of which were debunked and non-existent.
In the midst of all this, Bahrain witnessed it's Next Top Model, with newly found allegations that a member of Al Wefaq, Ali Salman a.k.a "Noora" was amongst the runners up to winning the title and being easy, breezy, beautiful covergirl, except that they found out she was a man.
Soon after attempts from the Crown Prince for a national tribal council or dialogue were ignored and a month long of waiting, the boys are finally back in town. Similar to the show, Bahrain had its own Heroes squad flocking from the GCC to help put an end to this mayhem. Many of them were escorted out of the Pearl Roundabout, with protestors burning their own tents to hide evidence of their misdemeanors.
As midnight passes in the ghost town cities of Bahrain, after the Military issued its fourth announcement later in the afternoon of a curfew starting from 4pm - 4am in certain areas in the country, the roads seem haunted and mostly everyone was at home. The National Guards came in to arrest the conspirators one after the other starting with: Ebrahim Sharif (the penguin), Ali Salman (Noora), Mohammed Al Miqdad (Beavus), Abduljalil AlSanik (Butthead), Hassan Mushama (Voldermort), Abdulhadi Almukhodur (Shredder), Hussain Alhaddad (Dumb), and Abdulwahad Hussain (Dumber). Apparently while some were esily arrested, Butthead was hiding in a woman's cloak to make a quick run for it. But similar to the Amazing Race, only the one who reaches first wins, so applause to the Guards for catching the cross-dresser.
Now that many of the mischievous plotters were arrested for committing multiple crimes against the government, royal family and mostly the country. It's time to bring in some serious Law & Order to put them right where they belong for trying to bring down the country of Bahrain under the biggest lie heard to mankind "Peace". Let's hope this doesn't turn into another TV show, something similar to Prison Break ;)
And who am I? That's another secret I'll never tell. You know you love me. xoxo

Introducing: Gulf League

Move over Pearl Roundabout protestors, there are new superheroes looking to take over the stage! After a month long of patience, civil disobedience and destruction, the Gulf League arrives in Bahrain. The Gulf League or GA entered the country after the nation witnessed harmful protests that caused many casualties, raised concerns and spreading fear in the country.

The King of Bahrain imposed a three-month state of emergency yesterday and gave the country's military chief wide authority to battle anti-government uprising that has threatened the public of Bahrain and was the reason, the Gulf League made an appearance in the country.
The martial law-style order- read on Bahrain state TV- comes a day after GA troops arriving in the country to help prop up the US backed country in a major cross-border action against the revolts that have erupted across the Arab world. The GA is comprised of troops from: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Oman. Yemen is left out because they have their own protestors to deal with.
Meanwhile, Bahrain's Ministry of Interior, confirmed that a member of Bahraini's security forces was killed in the festivities with the protestors stating: "A member of the security forces passed away in Ma'amer this evening when he was deliberately run over by one of the rioters", the Ministry said in a statement read on state television.
The Gulf League was only invited to join the party after several attempts by the government to resolve the tension in Bahrain whether it be the right to protest peacefully despite the destruction of public property, causing traffic delays and implanting fear in the hearts of the people where most were in house-arrest due to the extreme measures taken by the conspirators. Another attempt was made by the Crown Prince of Bahrain for the commencement of a national dialogue, which was a step not only in the right direction but while the likes of Libya are yelling "It's me or destruction", the Bahraini government is calling for a peaceful dialogue with high officials of all sectors in Bahrain to contribute quick to resolve this unfortunate event, but even this cry was ignored by the protestors and when they gave in later, they put 12 prerequisites to enter the talks with the government. In my humble opinion, I feel it was a grave mistake to do that because it was a serious effort to put back these tensions and move forward as a country. Only after several endeavors and failure from the opposition to respond to the talks and the causing of more tensions and delays in the country is when an invitation was sent out without an R.S.V.P. to the Gulf League and sooner than later, they obliged and marched their tanks, trucks and planes to the betrayed Bahrain to once again restore security and safety in the country. The GA came with warnings and alerts, however the protestors are resisting with full force and persistence, some taking off their shirts and instigating the irritation method so the army would shoot them. After insulting the army and taking photos of them, they hand them a rose while whispering to them "Down Down with the Government". At this stage, the only thing that's going down is the protestors and their failed attempt at overthrowing the government. The Gulf League are here to take over the stage and finally put the protestors where they should be, behind bars.

Who's Popping the Popcorn?

BAHRAIN- It was a riddle worthy of the murder mystery board game Clue. But this time it was not Reverend Green in the parlor with a Candlestick. This game is played differently from the game of Clue we’re used to or have played in our teens. This game isn’t played in a mansion, but is played by a terrorist organization with different weapons; all of which could contribute to the murder of Bahrain, if not already has started stabbing its back. The aim of the game is to cause the downfall of a nation, let alone different ministries which represent each room in the country (a.k.a. The Mansion). Before we can take it any further, we have to introduce the characters of the game:
1-      Miss Scarlet (Isa Qassim): is the resident femme fatale in the game. She’s the ringleader, planning both in the country and outside to reach her goal and force out the leadership of the country. She rolls first in the game and the rest follow. The Bahraini version of the Anti-Christ.

2-      Colonel Mustard (Hassan Mushayma): is the stock character of a great hunter and colonial imperialist. He is usually a military man both dignified to the terrorist organization known as “Alhaq” and dangerous. When he speaks, the sheep follow. A step away from his grave.

3-      Mrs. White (Ali Salman): is the stock portrayal of a frazzled servant to her Mistress (Miss Scarlet),but also had a couple of divergent characterizations: portrayed as “Noora” the cross dresser,  “Aliyah Salman” the leader of a semi-authorized society acknowledging violence called “Alwefaq” and finally the “Biatch” because she’s pushed around by leaders and a servant to their “needs”. We still aren’t sure if she’s a man or a woman.

4-      Reverend Green (Mariam Al Khawaja): this rather confusing character has been given two different personas in the Clue World. Originally patented as hypocritical monk who weakens when it comes to the Sixth Commandment, murder. Rev. Green has also been seen as money-oriented roles from mobster to businessman. This character is the spokesperson of the terrorist organization and is known for exploiting lies. If all goes against him, he plays the “Human Rights” card. He is the designer of “Ready to Die for Bahrain” T-shirts.

5-      Mrs. Peacock (Saeed Shehabi): this stock character is of a grand dame, an elderly yet still attractive to loners, outcasts and the gay community. She maintains her dignity only with International News Networks. She was the founder of a group called “Ahrar Al Bahrain” and only has 4 members in her so called group, which is why she rolls fifth in the game. She is of no importance.

6-      Professor Plum (Abduljalil Sankis): an absent-minded professor. Often depicted as either a middle aged fellow with a bow tie and glasses, he’s seen by the terrorists as “the brain”. He plays the role of the smart intellectual, yet behind the scenes is a weak conspirator who has served sentence in jail several of times for failed attempts and pathetic plots. He rolls last in the game because he is a minor character who could easily be caught and thrown in jail again. If this was a game of Monopoly, he would be.

7-      Dr. Black (Nabil Rajab): this stock character plays the generic victim, he is the unseen host who is injured all for the sake promoting “peace”. This character has been a sole conspirator with international countries mainly Israel to fight against the leadership. He is a pimp to the Iranian government, yet goes under disguise as a Jewish rabbi to confuse the people. He doesn’t roll in the game, because he will be murdered- very soon if not by the government, then by Al Qaeda.
Now that the characters have been explained and well defined, it’s time to understand how the game is played. There was a plot by all these characters to put a stop to the leadership of Bahrain because they have grown jealous of the leaders’ country and would like to stop it all in the name of “Peace”. Each character played a role, had a weapon that he/she used to manipulate and escalate the issues taking place in Bahrain to reach to the height that it has today, STILL under the umbrella of “peace”. Some of the weapons used, unlike in the game are: Media, Human Rights, Protests, Government Flowers, Hezbollah, and non-other than Iran.
The weapons that these malicious characters have used were to terrorize the people of the nation and cause fear in their hearts. They think that only because they have the weapons, they can easily put a stop to the country. They have walked into rooms (a.k.a. Ministries) to disrupt the peace in them and paralyze the political economy in more ways than one. Some of the affected Ministries are: Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Culture and Information, Ministry of Works, Ministry of Industry & Commerce, and finally Ministry of Justice. These ministries have been affected one by one with the terrorists in the nation. It started with the Ministry of Interior and has escalated to include these 9 more ministries.
Some of these acts of terrorism include:
1-      Protesting in Pearl Roundabout
2-      Disrupting Education in nationwide schools
3-      Combating Policemen and Soldiers
4-      Barricading the major highways and flyovers in the country
5-      Damaging and harming the University of Bahrain
6-      Spreading psychological disorder to the people
7-      Handing them flowers while chanting “Peaceful, we’re Peaceful”.
In the recent events since February 14th, Bahrain has been hijacked by these terrorist organizations and day by day, we’re getting closer to knowing: who is the murder, who is behind all of these plots and what key weapon was used to reach their goal. Never in the history of Bahrain has the country seen such a meticulous scheme to force their rule over the leadership. If this was a game of Clue, then after a few rolls of the dice and visiting rooms, the player would come to a conclusion and figure out who murdered Dr. Black, however this is a national scheme and if the government wants to find out who and how the country was betrayed, it has to trace back the steps and subject these suspects to severe punishment until one of them cracks and the whole story is naked to the world. The cruel intentions of these terrorist heads are slowly but surely becoming clear, but here’s the WINNING question and if answered right, the government can win this game: Who shall the government trial first?
Let’s play detective and help our government! J
